We talk- he's pretty quiet, so I guess I talk- but anyway, he tells me he has his band he must leave Jazzieland to go play with. I was confused until he clarified... oh, he's a rad dj- and his band is She Wants Revenge. Ok- got it... he does some great art I'm thinking. I like it.
Then he shows me the music video he directed for their new album... His game steps up even higher... I'm now impressed...
He shoots me with less than one hours notice after recording all night for Elle Japan magazine at 1 a.m...
Long story short... Many do art- but there are very very few artists... Artists- we're weird. I get it. It's drilled into my head pretty much everyday. But we go there. We're not scared to be weird to show you the pictures in our head or the sound in our minds- we are vulnerable because we are the innovators that are the lions... Not the lambs...
He's the presidents DJ. And I'm the princess of Saudi Arabia's stylist... And I mean it... I love it when people impress me... And he does. I love that.
Thank you Adam Michael Bravin, you're an incredibly talented artist... and I totally have a school yard crush on you too. It's really frustrating and annoying... The photos are beautiful and he captured me in a way that made me feel safe. Can't explain it- but he just gets it... Rare to find those who do... Xx bella
