...greatest.expectations.were.met...

FINALLY- although not evoking "fall" in every look... or even cohesion in the entire collection... that's not what I've come to see with Marchesa... these two girls just want pretty dresses for the Hollywood elite to just romp around the red carpets with- and sourcing "Great Expectations" as their recent inspiration- I loved the fun flirty pieces, (especially the dark leather looks- my FAVORITES!!) going on for Fall at Marchesa! Here are the top highlights my fashion monsters!!

p.s and f.y.i why I haven't done coverage or "recap" of the "Royal Wedding" was because I'm a McQueen protester.. yes you read that correctly... whoop di doo Sara Burton- boring ass Katherine got the boring ass dress her boring ass face deserved... (Harry's the hot prince anyways) but in general my loathing of McQueen isn't the overzealous fashion elite that so readily praise him as being some innovative genius (hello... I said thank you for the fucking Skull Scarf, and paid for it- twice...) but him killing himself when his mom died, in the midst of a wildly successful career- pissed me off so fucking badly- because I'm still here, and when my mom died- she IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE- I live FOR her... and I wanted to cop out so fucking badly afterward, during the second round of cancer treatments, still... but she still tells me that I can't take the "easy out" because that's giving up- and not showing the world my talent and my art... SO FUCK OFF McQUEEN- YOU'RE A LITTLE BITCH AND BITCHED OUT...

ok- done with my "HERE'S WHY McQUEEN CAN KISS MY ASS" rant... and back to Marchesa...
