When John Galliano announced that the face of his new perfume would be everyone's favorite child-star-turned-angry-outspoken-teenager Taylor Momsen, the fashion community cringed a little bit. The general reaction was that the raccoon-eyed seventeen year old, best known as Little J on Gossip Girl and frontwoman of rock band The Pretty Reckless, was an unlikely choice for a couture brand. Momsen's name usually makes headlines due to her penchant for stripper shoes, quotable opinions on masturbation, trash-talking of other celebrities or her landing on the worst dressed list. (even though PERSONALLY- I'm all about the angry middle finger FUCK YOU to society and am proud of my platinum haired twin- minus the smoking heroin thing... not for me, but she's keeping it rock and roll... i like that)
But the ads turned out rad, as did the video... Just like her music, you stuffy squares didn't want to like it... but you do- you do...
